The unit has employed manpower just sufficient for running single shift.  The average capacity utilisation per shift has been 70.0 % of its total installed production capacity per shift. The unit has however all infrastructure and resource back-up to reach its near full capacity utilisation at any given time.

All the required raw materials are available within the country . The production process involves primarily the mixing of raw materials mainly the minerals and de-oxidisers with binders to form flux, and the coating of flux on to the mild steel core wire by extrusion process. This is followed by baking, packing in cartons . The final corrugated boxes are strapped by nylon straps and shrink wrapped in order to provide extra protection from moisture . All products are manufactured under stringent quality control parameters and are checked at every stage of production from raw material to finished stage thus ensuring an end product of the highest quality.

The product is effectively marketed through a well-established dealers network comprising of about 35 dealers spread over the entire state and also in parts of neighbouring states. Due to the strict quality adherence at all levels and excellent customer service back up, the product has gained wide popularity and acceptability.

The unit has provided employment for about 20 persons that includes professionals in Engineering & Commerce apart from skilled and semi skilled labour force.

With the strong and successful track record, the unit is forging ahead towards facing new challenges and achieving a lot more. An ambitious growth plan has been drawn envisaging substantial capacity enhancements and introduction of new products in a systematic manner to cater to the growing market demand for quality welding electrodes and provide total customer satisfaction.
